WELLNESS WALK - KIDS RUN 2009 SLIDESHOW
Thanks, everyone, for your attendance and financial support of our
first annual WELLNESS WALK/KIDS RUN! It was wonderful to see all the
people, balloons, picture taking, and excitement present at the
walk. There were over 100 plus walkers and we raised almost $9,500.
The walk committee did a great job! The money raised will be used to
continue to offer our FREE services of SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND
ADVOCACY for families and individuals who have been affected by
brain disorders. The awareness raised will help stamp out the stigma
associated with mental illness.
A special thank you goes to Jen Dalton for being our honorary chair
of the walk! Jen had a great story to tell at our Kickoff Luncheon
and her empathy, as well as enthusiasm for families and individuals
with mental illness, were very touching to all of us.
