THE 2011 NAMI CLERMONT COUNTY WELLNESS WALK, our major fundraiser, is October 8, 2011. Join us at Veterans' Memorial Park-the "Helicopter Park", 906 Clough Pike, Union Township, OH 45245. Registration starts at 8:30 and the Walk at 9:30. Since all NAMI services are free, we depend on individuals, businesses, and organizations for financial support. Due to large funding cuts to the State and local mental health budgets, support, education, and advocacy are needed more than ever. In a time where economic pressures are causing additional stress and mental health issues, treatment options are becoming limited.
That's why we need you to join the Walk! It is easy to register, form a team, and/or make a donation at the walk website at www.nami-cc.org. Walking or working at the Walk is FUN and a great way to reconnect with old friends. If you would like to register on paper, just call the office at 528-5500. If you are not able to have your own team, we'd love for you to just came and walk with us. Afterall, we are all on the same team-fighting stigma and giving hope!
